Walking in Bordeaux
The Medoc estuary in Bordeaux, nestled between the Atlantic ocean on one side, and the Gironde River on the other, is a tiny area filled with some of the most famous wines in the world. On the other side of the city of Bordeaux itslef, you find medieval St Emilion, with its astonishing architectural heritage as well as its Grand Cru classé vineyards – all classed together as a UNESCO site.
Walking here gives you fantastic photo ops of beautiful winemaking chateaux, the chance to explore dynamic Bordeaux itself, explorations of underground caverns and cellars, and a rich collection of tastes and memories to take home.
